Face Masks

We need to continue to do what we can to keep people safe from catching Covid-19. One way we can all help with this is by continuing to wear a face-covering in our practice and we are asking all patients to do that, as well as our staff. Keeping our staff safe is essential to keep operating efficiently.

We are also continuing to make sure we don’t have large numbers of patients in our waiting areas and on the premises – again this is about reducing the chance of infection when there are rising rates in the community.

The various measures we have taken, including increased use of personal protective equipment, patients wearing face masks, holding more virtual consultations, social distancing and extra premises cleans have helped protect staff, patients and visitors over the past year. Taking these steps has also enabled us to continue providing many of the non-urgent services that would otherwise have been postponed.

We want to make sure you can all be confident about accessing or visiting local healthcare services safely.

Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation with this – it makes a huge difference.

COVID BOOSTERS

At risk patients will be invited for a COVID Booster vaccination approximately 6 months from the second vaccination. Please be aware you will be offered the Pfizer booster in line with NHS guidance. (Please note there are always exceptions to the rule and these patients will be contacted directly).

 Flu Vaccinations

To book your Flu Vaccination please call the surgery on 0203 114 7100.

We are offering vaccinations to:

  • People aged 50 and over
  • People with long term health conditions
  • Pregnant women
  • Carers
  • Children aged 2-3years old

Eligible patients with a mobile phone number registered to their record will also receive a text message.

The NHS is very busy responding to the coronavirus pandemic and, at certain times, your GP practice may need to prioritise patients with the most urgent health needs.

If you have a health issue that isn’t urgent, advice is available on the NHS website www.nhs.uk or NHS app or you can speak to your local pharmacist. You can also use e-consult which is available through our practice website. If you aren’t sure what to do, please contact the practice who can advise you on how to get the help you need.

Please continue to attend tests, vaccinations and screening when invited.

www.111.nhs.uk is also available 24/7 for urgent health advice or by calling 111, and 999 is for emergencies.

Information on the COVID-19 vaccination can be found here.

Information on the NHS COVID-19 Pass can be found here.

COVID 19

We are working hard at the surgery to keep you and your family members safe, whilst also keeping our staff safe and maintaining staffing levels.
We would ask that patients telephone the surgery rather than turning up to be seen, this will help us limit non-essential patient attendances.
We would ask that you follow all Government advice around facial coverings and social distancing particularly when you attend the surgery.
Thank you for your understanding during this time.

Patients - What can you do to help protect us all?

1. Wear a face covering/mask (which covers your nose and mouth) when attending the surgery.

2. Maintain social distancing - once you have checked in at reception you may be asked to wait outside until your turn to re-enter the building.

3. Dropping off samples - you do not need to queue. Ensure you sample is correctly labelled and then place it in the orange bin at reception and leave the building.
